Windmill is built on Copp’s Hill.

(Aug.) It is located on today’s Hull Street (originally Snow Hill then Windmill Hill). The first windmill in the British Colonies, it is used grind corn. It is subsequently moved to Cambridge “because it would not grind there except in a westerly wind.” (Relocated from Watertown, where it would only grind when the wind was from the west. – Bremer)
